Yep......it's potty-training time! She's been playing the game of just sitting on the toilet and saying "stuck", meaning that her wee-wee and poo-poo is stuck. It's hilarious!!! But we keep playing the game hoping that one day she will actually do her business on the toilet.
We just spent the last week in California. David and I took a mini-vacation to Catalina Island. We left Kylee with Grandma while we went back to the place where we spent our honeymoon 5 years ago. It was beautiful and the weather was gorgeous! We then picked Kylee up and drove to San Diego where we went to the beach and Sea World. Kylee loved the ocean and Shamu. It was a fun week and we miss the weather. We are now back home in 110 degree weather. Yuck!
A lot has changed for our little family! We adopted our sweet baby boy Carter Aaron in November of 2011 and our family couldn't feel more complete with the addition of our sweet miracle. David is loving work, as always, and has recently started a new position as a detective! We are so proud of him and how hard he works. He is the Young Men's President in our ward now too, which keeps him even more busy. Stefany is enjoying every second of being a stay at home Mom to Carter and Kylee. It is a dream come true! She is working part time as a college, high school, and club volleyball official. She also just recently got a calling in the nursery and loves having Carter with her in there. Kylee is in 2nd grade and is loving being in the same class as her cousin Cole. She is in dance and just ended her first season of softball. Mom and Dad are so proud of all her accomplishments. Carter is thriving as well and hitting major mile stones. He is the happiest little baby and loves to discover his world around him! We just love him and we can't get enough of our little adventurous man. Life is better than we ever could have imagined with our sweet little family. Life is good!
