Story Time by Kylee Pew

Kylee loves to tell stories and they usually involve a princess named Kylee. She was in a story telling mood the other day so I whipped out my camera and caught one on tape. She gets a little "side-tracked" with the hot lamp but other than that, it's a pretty scary story! Beware!! LOL

I met a celebrity!!! Well.....kind of!

At a club volleyball directors meeting this past weekend, I had the opportunity to see and talk with Nicole Davis. For those of you in the volleyball world, you SHOULD know who she is. For those of you who don't know volleyball and didn't watch the olympics last month, then allow me to explain. She is the libero (defensive specialist) for the USA olympic team. She is amazing!!! She was a guest speaker at the meeting and she passed her medal around for everyone to see. They took silver.........lost to an amazing Brazil team. I was so excited to hold an olympic medal! I had Charlotte (club arrowhead director) take a picture of me with it. I was laughing so hard because I felt so dumb taking this picture in front of everyone..............so I look funny in the picture. But hey...........how many of you can say that you've held an olympic medal!!!??? That's what I thought! LOL

2008 Lady Knights!

The 2008 High School season is in full swing and I'm having a blast with this team! They are an amazing group of girls who work their tails off every practice. We had a rocky start to our season but things have been looking up this past week. The best thing about this team is that they all get along and love each other! Our chemistry is great and it shows when you watch them. We just beat one of our rivals yesterday and it felt GREAT! We have a tournament tomorrow (Saturday) and we are looking forward to getting all the practice we can get to help us get more region wins! These pictures are from our Chandler tournament a couple weekends ago. We didn't place very well in this tournament, but we definitely grew and learned a lot! And that's what these tournaments are all about!

Straight Hair!

If you haven't noticed already........Kylee has extremely curly hair. My friend Tanya, being the hair-stylist that she is, has been asking me to straighten her hair just to see what it would look like. Well, now I know! Look at these pictures below.............her hair is sooo long and blonde!

I have been getting requests on how I updated my blogger list to show when everyone has updated. It's really simple and it's part of the blogspot format. Just go to your layout and click on "add a gadget" (on the right side). Then a window will pop up and click on the first option called "blog list". You will have to input each address one at a time, which will take some time if you have a lot of friends! It took me about an hour and a half so make sure you have time! After you input all of your addresses, go through and delete your current list of friends. Otherwise, you'll have two lists of friends. Let me know if you have any questions or problems!!! Anger Management Here I Come...

Soooo...................I absolutely HATE crickets! They are ugly, yes, but I can't stand their annoying humming chirp! When I was a little girl, I used to wake my Dad up to go find the crickets outside my window because they would keep me up at night. The "average" person can't hear crickets the way I can. They just pierce the very "soul" of my ears!!! That's the only way I can describe my utter HATRED for those nasty insects. So onto my "anger management" spell. I got home tonight around 7:45pm (after a sweep win at Higley - go Knights!) and the first thing I hear is a loud cricket coming from inside the wall in our kitchen. It's so loud that it seems like it should be sitting on our island counter top singing away. But it's hidden somewhere in the wall and it's absoutely driving me crazy! So I kicked the wall off and on throughout the evening and it would stop every now and then. Well, it kept on going for about 30 mintues straight and it made me SOOOO mad. So i went into the kitchen and back kicked the wall with my heel and, um.........needless to say, this is what happened - - - -

Um, yeah..........I kicked a monster hole in our wall. And to make matters worse, the cricket started chirping all loud right after I did it - - as if to laugh in my face and rub it in!!!! Ahhhhh.......I HATE crickets!!!!

And here's the quick fix! Gotta love blue tape!

Goodbye "Man Patch"

I'm not a fan of chest hair and luckily David was "blessed" with very little hair for me! He has a tiny patch of hair in the middle of his chest. Our friend Tanya happens to have a hot tub with wax and we went on a waxing binge one day while we were hanging out with them. This video explains it all...............(the volume is a little off from what is happening but you can still get the full effect of what David is going through!!!) LOL - - -

GOODBYE MAN PATCH!!!

Here is a picture of the two "manly men" getting their hair colored! Nick colored his because he's got some style and wanted to switch things up. David, however, got convinced to get rid of his grays!!!! Don't they look so happy and handsome!? (I'm turning my husband into a metro man)
