I took the "Plunge"

What is it with this book??? Everyone I practically know has been trying to get me to read this book for over a year now. I know it's because I tease everyone that's read it and who becomes literally obsessed with it. All I would hear is that it was about vampires and all that crazy stuff. Who wants to read about that crap?? Well, turns out I do! I finally took the plunge and read the book. Let's just say that I finished it in 4 days and am now half way into New Moon. I'm still going to stick with my first comment.........WHAT IS IT WITH THIS BOOK??? They get you hooked and you can't put the dang book down! It's made me incredibly lazy because all I want to do is read. I've never read a book like this before. David laughs at me because out of the 6 years we've been married, he's never seen me read a book (other than the BOM of course). After I read Twilight, I went to Katie's blog and watched the trailer. Oh man!!! I can't wait until December 12th!!!!

Congrats on taking the plunge!!!! When I first heard about the book and that it was about Vampires and stuff I was like 'ummm...ok why would I want to read that?' But now they are my favorite books. :)

Diddo! It seemed like everyone around me was ranting and raving about the Twilight series and I was like, "Um, first of all I don't read because I find it boring and second, vampires and sci-fi are the last things I'm interested in..." Yah, so after hearing about it and hearing about it, I waited a month after deciding I'd try it and sat in the book store and read the first couple of pages.... I couldn't wait to get home to finish and read the entire thing that very night!!! Within a week I'd finished the entire series! And that's saying something about these books because previous to that, I would only read books to my kids, but would rather stab myself than pick up an actual book for myself. Now I read almost every night and am on my SEVENTH book for the year. Absolutely amazing and I'm glad you joined the crazy Twilight club. They really are woth reading... Who would've thought? HA HA.

haha That's funny! I never even heard about this mystery book until I started blogging! I don't get why it's so good! They must put some crack in it somewhere to get you addicted! I might have try it out sometime!

You are SOOO funny! We are so much alike too. All my friends have been trying to get me to read this and I haven't because they act so cheezey about it. Maybe I will give in too. All I read is my celeb. and beauty magazines....I should expand my horizons....

Steph, that's hilarious. When I was working at the hospital about a year ago all the nurses had this book at the nurses station and they were reading it when they weren't with patients (though sometimes I'm sure they ignored the call light when it was going off). So I got it for my wife and after she read the first one, I followed then went out and bought New Moon and read it before she did and then pre-ordered Eclipse and read it in like 3 days. I can't wait for the 4th, 5th and however many more there are coming out. I have to ask, did you guys think even half as much as Bella does in the book. Sometimes, as a dude, I wish I wasn't inside her head as much. Man what a labyrinth!
