Birthday party ideas...

Kylee is turning 3 in a couple weeks and I'm at a dead end of what to do for her birthday party. I know a lot of you have little girls/kids so please help me with some fun creative ideas that were a success for your birthday parties. Any ideas would be great! Now that Kylee is old enough to understand that it is her birthday and that we are celebrating for her, I want her to remember it and have tons of fun! Send your ideas my way!!! Thanks!

We had a princess party for my Kiley of course they all came as princess' Then we started off by putting some makeup on, then designed foam tiaras and the games we played were Jasmines magic carpet ride (like musical chairs) Snow Whites Poison Apple(hot potatoe)and Pin the kiss on the frog prince. We read Cinderella til parents showed up but we had a little prize passed around during the story they had to pass it everytime Cinderella was said and whoever ended up with it at the end of the story got it. Oh and the other games had little prizes for the winners. I made all the girls a princess cloak as a party favor. I still have kiss the frog prince if you decide to do the princess theme. You would just need to make cut out lips from posterboard. Here is the link to Kiley's party post http://bkcluff.blogspot.com/2007/03/party-time.html
Have fun in whatever you decide to do :)

Since it's hot outside, I'd go with a water party. You can say it's an "Under the Sea" party with Ariel as the Princess, but I'd do Slip n Slide, water balloon toss, squirt guns, a play pool, etc. You can do Otter Pops as a treat (other "cool" foods too like watermelon, etc) and give out either bubbles, Ariel type things or a small squirt gun as a party favor. Kids love water, making a mess and running around like crazy people. Perfect for boys and girls! :0)
